To make hosting Gay Games XI a reality we need your help. Lend your support and be a part of history as we aim to bring the Gay Games to Los Angeles for the first time.
Last year, the team behind LAVO launched the West Hollywood Sports Festival, an award-winning multi-sport tournament here in Los Angeles. The inaugural event had more than 3,000 attendees, between athletes and spectators. So many volunteers and donations made this dream a reality. With friends, family and the kindness of strangers, we rolled up our sleeves and pulled off an historic event that was embraced by the community. Winning the Outstanding National Tournament Award (Multi-Sport) at the 2015 Compete Sports Diversity Awards was an honor and icing on our celebratory cake!

LAVO embodies community, inclusion and promoting the power of sports to unite.
Our values are centered on teamwork, respect and integrity. Our humble contribution to society relies in producing multicultural LGBT sports events that inspire, educate and celebrate our diverse community. In searching for opportunities to have greater impact, we feel it is an honor and an obligation to take on the role to launch the bid for Los Angeles to host the 2022 Gay Games.
We envision a future that levels the playing field, where all are treated equal. The bid for Los Angeles to host the 2022 Gay Games is an extension of the LAVO mission to support and empower the LGBT sports community worldwide and create lasting memories for a new generation of athletes. Our commitment upholds the Federation of Gay Games’ guiding principles of Participation, Inclusion, and Personal Best™.
